For one of our customers we are now looking for a Material Handling Engineer.
Job responsibilities:
– Material handling professional with previous project experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
– Good understating of Norwegian Regulatory Requirements (including Norsok)
– Review and approve Structural Shop drawings for lifting lugs & monorails.
– Identify the need for equipment needed for load testing of lifting lugs & monorails. – Material Handling Engineer to obtain rental equipment if needed.
– Develop and issue EWP (Engineering Work Pack) for load testing of lifting lugs & monorails.
– Review and approve documents from Enterprise of Competence post load test and implement documents as per LCI requirements.
– Technical interface with Structural, Construction, Completion and Enterprise of Competence
– Ensure that company’s standards and routines are implemented and aligned with contractual requirements.
Your experience and qualifications:
– Minimum 3 years relevant experience
– Software experience preferred: IFS & NavisWorks Simulate
– Experience working with an Enterprise of Competence and their ILO / Norsok requirements.
– A pro-active and collaborative mindset with good communication skills
– Demonstrate an active HSE attitude
– Language: English required, Norwegian (or Scandinavian) preferred.
