Contract Manager Projects

For one of our customers we are now looking for a Contract Manager Projects – Multi-Technical/Project administrative / Supply Chain Management (SCM).

This position is in business area Projects, Drilling & Procurement (PDP). PDP Procurement and Supplier Relations (PSR) is responsible for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) process ensuring safe and efficient supply of products and services to all our operations and development projects globally. The PSR organization consist of 5 business units covering, strategic, tactical, and operational activities in the SCM process:

• Drilling, Well & Interventions

• Subsea, Engineering & Construction

• Operations

• Corporate Support

• Compliance, Improvements & Analysis.

We are now looking for candidates specifically related to Project Procurement in the Subsea, Engineering & Construction (SEC) business area. All PSR employees are organized in the SC Competence Center (CC) – created to unite the professional networks and facilitate flexibility and people development in the line with the One Company objectives.

Job responsibilities:

The candidates could get assignments within all PSR SEC categories, but the need is now mainly within the Subsea, Marine and Installations category and within the Electrification- and Low Carbon Solutions portfolios. Assignments could be towards the following projects/portfolios:

– Subsea Lines Modification portfolio (marine & fabrication contracts).

– Subsea Operations/Inspections, Maintenance & Repair (IMR) contracts.

– New emerging subsea clusters/portfolios (e.g., compressions, HPHT).

– Electrification portfolio (e.g., topside, HV equipment, onshore).

– Northern Lights project.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform demand and market analysis in both global and local markets.

• Lead and participate in a cross-functional teams for the establishment of specific procurement strategies both locally and as part of a global sourcing team.

• Prepare and issue enquiries, manage and conduct bid evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation.

• Drive and perform contract management from award to contract close-out with a focus on minimizing value leakage, risk and promoting safety.

• Enhance company’s supply chain by ensuring compliance with our governing Supply Chain Management processes, with specific focus on Integrity Due Diligence, Human Rights assessments, Safety and Commercial Risk.

• Proactively ensure high quality stakeholder management both internally and towards suppliers.

• Extensive external dialogue with suppliers and stakeholders to build strategic relations.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Experience with project procurement within the energy sector.

• Strategic and commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with establishment and management of major contracts.

• Stakeholders management skills, both internally and externally.

• Flexible taking on new tasks and challenges.

• Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree.

• 5+ years relevant experience.

• English and Norwegian

Job Specifications:
