Management Consultant Support for Jo Le Lean Logistics Program

Description about project/department DPN JO Logistics and emergency preparedness (LE) is a Business unit responsible for logistics and emergency response, mainly on NCS. Unit operates and control:
• Marine operations to and from installations with PSVs
• Air transportation of personnel
• Rig move and anchor handling
• 7 Supply bases, including waste handling and CCUs
• 6 Helicopter terminals terminals
• Inbound transportation
• Logistics and emergency arrangements such as search and rescue helicopter, oil spill response vessels, stand by vessels etc Yearly cost of operation is approx. mnok 8.000. 95% of cost is related to external supplier cost. Unit consist of approx. 210 FTEs

As a response to Company’s cost saving targets LE has mobilized several improvement projects to decrease cost. The overall program includes optimizing helicopter and supply schedules, challenge robustness in logistical solutions and capacity, more efficient anchor handling, cost saving initiatives with suppliers and internal organizational development. The overall ambition is to reduce total in LE with 20% towards 2016

Description about task and responsibilities:
Scope of work includes support for the period December 15th to june 30th including but not limited to:
• Programme and project management and support
• Facilitating project teams
• Establishment of overall business case methodology and reporting mechanisms
• Continuous updating of Business Case
• Risk analysis and risk management
• Stakeholder analysis
• Updating the program progress plan and program organisation
• Cost benefit analysis
• Preparation of documentation for communication and decision support purposes
Work related competence
• Master degree or equivalent
• Preferably experience from within the oil and gas sector
• Proven methodology and project management skills
• Knowledge of Company’s organization
