Contracts Coordinator Project Studies

Start: 23.02.2012  End: 31.01.2013

Option period: Yes: 2 x 1 Years

Assignment description:

• Develop specific procurement strategies
• Participate and conduct tasks as required to pre-qualify suppliers
• Manage and conduct the tender (RFQ) process by preparing and issuing tenders acc. to set strategies
• Manage and conduct bid evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation.
• Give advice to other members of the project team
• Give input to the overall project procurement plan
• Ensure that the agreements are correctly used and managed
• Seek and provide best practice to/from Conpany competence units and to other projects
• Indentify and manage uncertainty within own agreements
• Perform SOX controls
• Be an active member of the Procurement organisation within the project.
• Focus on cooperation/ integration with other parts of the project team
• General support to the Procurement Manager and/or Contract manager

Competence requirements:

• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Business understanding and value chain perspective
• Structured, systematic and target driven with well defined goals
• Multi discipline understanding
• High integrity
• High focus on HSE, ethics and Company values
• Experienced in procurement routines, SAP etc.
• University degree. Relevant extensive experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Minimum 3-10 years experience from project procurement and/or project development/execution.

Language requirements (if essential for the work):
Fluent Norwegian and English (oral/writing).
